17 வயது சிறுவனை கைது செய்ய சிறுவனின் பெற்றோர்களுக்கு 5 லட்சம் ரூபாய் வரை வெள்ளம் ஆலை உரிமையாளர் கொடுத்ததாக அதிர்ச்சி தகவல் வெளிவந்தது. ஆனால் அதை எல்லாம் காவல்துறையினர் மறுத்துவிட்டனர்.
15/03/2023 அன்று ஜேடர்பாளையம் அருகே சரளைமேடு பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர் சக்திவேல் (வயது 70). இவர் தனக்கு சொந்தமான இடத்தில் வெல்லம் தயாரிக்கும் ஆலை கொட்டகை மற்றும் அங்கு பணிபுரியும் வட மாநில தொழிலாளர்கள் தங்கி வேலை செய்வதற்காக குடிசை வீடுகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. மாலை வட மாநில தொழிலாளர்களின் குடிசை வீடுகள் மற்றும் ஆலை கொட்டகை திடீரென தீப்பிடித்து எரிந்தது.
